Hollywood in Berlin - english
The Filmstadt walking tour of Berlin’s blockbusters
5,000 shootings per year - at any location. In addition, 32 million euros financal support, dedicated to bridge a funding gap. So, chances aren’t bad that we’ll stumble upon a recent film set on our tour, too – although we can't promise anything.
But at least we’ll take you to the real locations of the most famous and contemporary movies that have been shot in Berlin. For example, we'll show you where redheaded Lola lived before she ran off to rescue Manni and at which corner Victoria disappeared into nowhere, or in which Londoner street Ewan McGregor blew up a political scandal in the iconic movie "Ghost."
So, put on the director’s cap and get an insider’s perspective of Berlin and its filmmaking history! You’ll also learn why Hollywood loves to make films in Berlin.
